At the CNC Punch process, the flex panels are optically aligned to the CNC Punch Machine and the tooling holes are target punched. These tooling holes are used mainly for the final die cut (blanking) operation. Since the tooling holes are target punched using an etched fiducial, the dies or cutting tools that are pinned to these holes can hold a much tighter tolerance when the parts are cut. |
