Facility Pics 

DES is an acronym for Develop Etch Strip. This process occurs after photoresist lamination and artwork circuitry exposure. The DES operator places the panels in the DES machine.

In the develop process, unwanted areas of photoresist are removed from the panels. In the etching process, unwanted areas of copper are removed from the panels. In the strip process, ALL photoresist is removed from the panels. The finished panels are now ready for lamination of cover coats and/or stiffeners.
