Types

Listed below are the different flex construtions that we have available. In addition to the basic constructions described below, we are able to add stiffeners (polyimide, FR4, or metal), pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA's), silver epoxy, flexible soldermask, etc.

Single-sided

This is the simplest flexible printed circuit that we make. It's basic construction consists of one layer of copper, a base laminate, and one cover layer. Several different variations of a single-sided flex include double-bared flex and reverse-bared flex.

Double-sided

Another simple flex circuit. It consists of two layers of copper, a base laminate in-between, and two cover layers.

Multi-layer

A bit more complex flex construction, this type consists of more than two copper layers, more than one base laminate, and two cover layers. We can manufacture a flex consisting of upto 12 layers.

Flex-FR4

This flex construction consists of one or two layers of copper, a thin-core layer of FR4, and one or two layers soldermask.
